Terms

Free live training · Last updated 15 September 2026

These are the terms for the free online training. They are short on purpose. The important ones are sections 3 and 4.

1. Who these terms are with

The training is run by Aftermarket Wholesale Academy Ltd, registered in England and Wales, company number 16157052, registered office Unit 8 Twisleton Court, Priory Hill, Dartford, Kent, DA1 2EN ("we", "us", "our").

By registering you accept these terms. If you do not accept them, please do not register.

2. What the training is

A live online session of roughly 75 minutes, presented by Tom Ronan, on building a brand on TikTok Shop. It is free. There is nothing to pay to attend and we do not ask for a card.

It is delivered through WebinarJam, a third-party platform. You need an internet connection and a reasonably current browser. We cannot guarantee the session will work on every device or network.

3. A paid programme is presented during the training

You should know this before you register. The training is genuinely free and the bulk of it is teaching. Towards the end, we spend a few minutes presenting our paid programme, Start. Scale. Sell.

You are under no obligation to buy anything, at any point. You can attend the whole session, take everything useful from it, buy nothing, and that is a completely normal outcome.

4. No guarantee of income, earnings or results

This is the section to read twice.

If anything we say sounds like a promise of a result, it is not one, and these terms override it.

5. Figures and examples shown

We refer to figures from real businesses — some Tom's own, some belonging to brands his agency has worked with, some publicly reported by companies we have no connection to.

In every case:

6. Not professional advice

The training is general business education. It is not financial, investment, legal, tax or accounting advice, and it is not tailored to your circumstances. It does not create a professional relationship between us. Take proper advice before making a significant financial decision.

7. Recording, replay and taking part

The session is recorded. Anything you type in the chat or submit as a question may be captured in that recording and seen by anyone who watches the replay. Please do not put anything in the chat you would not want a stranger to read.

Attendees join with camera and microphone off. We may invite an attendee to speak on camera during the Q&A. If you accept, your camera and microphone are used and will be captured in the recording. You are never required to accept, and declining changes nothing.

The replay is sent to everyone who registers, whether or not you attended live, and it does not currently expire. If we ever need to take it down — for example, if a figure in it becomes out of date — we will give notice by email first where we reasonably can.

8. Intellectual property

The training, the slides, the recording, and the materials are ours, or used with permission. You may take notes and use what you learn in your own business — that is the point of it.

You may not record, screen-capture, download, republish, resell or share the session or the replay, in whole or in part, without our written permission.

9. How you must behave during the session

Be civil in the chat. We may remove anyone who is abusive, who spams, who promotes their own products, or who disrupts the session for other people. No refund question arises, because it is free.

10. Changes, cancellation and access

11. Our liability to you

Nothing in these terms limits or excludes our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or for anything else that cannot be limited or excluded by law. This includes the protections in section 65 of the Consumer Rights Act 2015.

Subject to that, and because the training is provided free of charge:

If you are a consumer, this does not affect your statutory rights, and any term here is subject to the fairness requirements in Part 2 of the Consumer Rights Act 2015.

12. Third-party platforms and trademarks

TikTok, TikTok Shop, Amazon and any other names and marks we mention belong to their respective owners. We are not endorsed by, affiliated with, or acting on behalf of any of them in relation to this training. Their platforms have their own terms, fees and rules, which change and which we do not control.

13. Your information

How we handle your personal information is set out in our Privacy Policy.
